Jewish wedding photographer on the French Riviera
Under the chuppah, in the reunions and in the middle of the hora. Studio Safran is a photography studio based in Nice. We photograph Jewish weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs and brit milah across the French Riviera, from Nice to Cannes and Monaco, and wherever you celebrate.
“I often tell couples: of this day that means so much to you, the photos are what will remain. Yet it is the part of the budget people underestimate most when planning a wedding. I do this work for the messages that come afterwards: families who find their loved ones exactly as they were that day, natural, and who will keep them for the rest of their lives.”

Everything you need to know
Your day, prepared with you
Before the wedding, we go through the day with you and your families: the time of the ketubah signing, the walk to the chuppah, the grandparents flying in, the uncle giving the speech.
Every family has its customs. Knowing them means knowing where to stand when the glass breaks, and when to disappear.
On the day
From the preparations to the last dance, we work as reportage: few poses, a lot of attention. The ketubah, the procession, the blessings under the chuppah, the broken glass, then the party and the chairs lifted during the hora.
Two cameras, one in the heart of the action and one for the wider scenes. Yaniv Aragonés photographs every wedding himself; the studio never sends a replacement.
Part of it on film
If you wish, part of the day can be shot on film alongside digital: the chuppah, a portrait of the two of you, the families together. We choose those moments with you.
Bar mitzvah, bat mitzvah, brit milah
For a bar or bat mitzvah, we follow the day from the synagogue, when photography is allowed there, to the evening: the tallit being adjusted, the tefillin, the family photo, the dancing.
A brit milah is shorter and more intimate. We stay discreet during the ceremony and come closer when the family gathers around the baby.
Where we work
Nice and the French Riviera are home: Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and the whole Alpes-Maritimes. We also travel anywhere in France and abroad.
Who photographs Jewish weddings on the French Riviera?
Studio Safran, based in Nice. Yaniv Aragonés, a photographer since 2018, photographs every wedding himself. The coverage follows the day in five moments: the preparations, the town hall, the chuppah and ceremony, the couple, then the party and the hora. Part of it can be shot on film. You receive about 600 edited images one month later, in a private online gallery and on an engraved USB key. Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and anywhere you celebrate. Free quote on +33 6 29 23 79 03 or WhatsApp.
Do you photograph bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs and brit milah in Nice, Cannes or Monaco?
Yes. Yaniv Aragonés photographs bar and bat mitzvahs from the synagogue, when the community allows it, to the evening party, and brit milah ceremonies with discretion, in Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and across the French Riviera.
Can photos be taken in the synagogue?
It depends on the community, the venue and the day. We discuss it with you beforehand and always follow the synagogue’s rules; when photography is not allowed, the coverage focuses on the moments around it.
When do we receive our wedding photos?
One month after the wedding: about 600 selected and edited images, in a private password-protected gallery and on a USB key engraved with your names, USB-C and USB-A.
How much does a Jewish wedding photographer cost on the Riviera?
Every wedding is different: the length of the day, the venues, the share of film. The quote is free and without commitment; send us the date and the venue and we will answer personally.
